Mint Chutney | Pudina Chutney | Mint Sauce

Recipe of delicious tangy Mint Chutney

We all prefer to eat simple and less oily food. To spice up our food we can add some Mint Chutney to it. We can have mint chutney as a side dish with Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. It is an Indian chutney prepared by combining mint leaves and aromatic Indian spices and lemon. It tastes delicious with appetizers and snacks. You can also use it as a spread with sandwiches or dip with kababs, tikkis or papadis.

It is healthy and tempting green chutney which goes well with all savory recipes. It is fresh, tangy and scrumptious. It goes well with fritters too. It is flavorful and easy. It takes few minutes to prepare it. It is simple and classic recipe. It is a perfect dip prepared using mint leaves.

Recipe type - Chutney

Ingredients :
  • 2 Bunch of Mint leaves (Pudina)
  • 3 Onions 
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic (Optional)
  • 2 Lemon 
  • 1 Teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • Salt (According to taste)
Preparation :
  1. Wash mint leaves(Pudina)
  2. Cut onions in 4 pieces
  3. Add green chillies and garlic
  4. Add lemon, chaat masala and salt to taste
  5. Grind it well until it becomes a mixture or a sauce 
  6. Serve Cold with all Indian dishes or use it like a dip for pita bread/other breads.
