SPROUTS Tikki stuffed with potato - Healthy Breakfast Recipe

How to make Sprouts Tikki stuffed with Aloo (potato), Sprouts Cutlet

Everybody wants to eat healthy and tasty breakfast. "Most of the healthy stuff is less tasty" that is a misconception. This option is healthy and yummy. This "Sprouts Tikki with stuffed Aloo" can be served with bread or yogurt for breakfast or mid-day snacking.

Ingredients :

For Sprouts tikki stuffed : 6 Tikkis / 6 cutlets
Recipe Type - Breakfast
Cuisine - North Indian 

  • 1 Cup Sprouted Moong Dal (Sprouted Mung Bean)
  • 1 Onion (Finely chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 2 Green chillies (Optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder 
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli (Optional)
  • 2 tablespoon Makki ka atta(Cornflour)
  • 1 piece of bread
  • Salt (According to taste)
  • Olive oil
For Potato Stuffing :

  • 3 Boiled Potato
  • Salt (According to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander Powder

Preparation :

For Potato Stuffing :
  1. Mash Boiled Potato
  2. Add salt, chaat masala, garam masala, and coriander powder to it.
  3. Mix it well and keep it aside.
For Sprouts Tikki :
  1. Grind Sprouted Moong Dal (Sprouted Mung Bean)
  2. Add onion, salt, chaat masala, garam masala, pepper, green chilli, red chilli, coriander powder in it and mix it well. 
  3. Add salt, chaat masala, cornflour and bread in grinded sprouted moong dal.
  4. Mix it well and make a dough
  5. Make round balls and stuffed it with the potato filling,
  6. Take a non-stick pan and shallow fry it in olive oil.
  7. Garnish it with coriander leaves
  8. Serve hot with onion rings and mint chutney
