Sooji Noodles | Vermicelli | Bambino for breakfast

How to make Sooji (Semolina) Noodles/Vermicelli/Bambino for Breakfast

This dish is an addition to our healthy menu. This can be served for breakfast or Mid-day snacks. This yummy dish is favorite among kids. We can have it as a substitute of junk food or noodles.

Lets start with a recipe :

Recipe Type : Breakfast / Mid-day snack
Cuisine : North Indian  

Ingredients : Serves 4

  • 1 packet of Bambino/Vermicelle
    Sooji Noodles/Bambino/Vermicelli healthy breakfast recipe
    Sooji Noodles/Bambino/Vermicelli 
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 green chillies (Optional)
  • 2 sliced onions
  • 1 chopped capsicum
  • 2 chopped carrots
  •  Half bowl chopped beans
  • Salt according to taste
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Soya Sauce
Preparation :
  1. Take a pan and heat 2 cup of water and add 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil.
  2. Add Bambino and wait until its boiled, drain it in a strainer, wash it with a cold water and keep it aside. 
  3. Take another pan, add oil and let it heat
  4. Add onions, and let it cook until they turn pink.
  5. Add green chillies (optional)
  6. Add capsicum, carrot, beans and cook for 3 minutes on simmer
  7. Add salt, chaat masala, , pepper to it and mix it well
  8. Add boiled bambino, lemon and soya sauce to it.
  9. Mix it well and cook for one more minute
  10. Serve hot
NOTE : You can add vinegar instead of lemon.
