How to make Chilli Potatoes with gravy | Vegetable chilly Potato | Indo-chinese Chilly Potato
Vegetable chilly Potatoes with thick gravy is a tangy and delicious recipe which is easy to make with minimum ingredients. It can be serve as a starter, mid-day snacks or a side dish and can be served with fried rice or noodles. This is an Indian version of chilly Potatoes and we have not added soya sauce and vinegar in it. We have added bell peppers in it, you can add more vegetables like carrots, beans, peas etc to make it healthy.

Ingredients :
- 2 Big potatoes
Chilly potato with gravy and vegetables - 4 crushed tomatoes
- 2 sliced onions
- 1 sliced bell pepper
- 6 chopped cloves of garlic (Optional)
- 2 green chopped chilies
- Salt according to taste
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon chilly sauce or Ketchup
- Oil (Refine/Olive)
Preparation for Gravy :

- Heat a non-stick pan, add 1 teaspoon oil in it
- Add tomatoes in it
- Cook it on low flame for 5 minutes
- Add salt, chaat masala, pepper, chilly sauce/ketchup in it
- Mix it well and keep it aside

- Heat a non-stick pan, add 1 tablespoon oil in it
- Add onion, garlic, green chilies, bell pepper in it
- When onion turn light brown and bell pepper are cooked
- Keep it aside
Preparation for Chilly Potatoes :
- Peel and slice potatoes in the shape of fries or any shape that you like
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry/shallow fry them
- Sprinkle a pinch of salt in it
- Add vegetables and potatoes in the gravy and serve immediately
Note : This dish has to be served immediately otherwise potatoes will become soft and will not taste the same.
