How to make whole wheat cheese corn veggie toast

Whole wheat cheese corn veggie toast is delicious and easy to make. It is simple and healthy too. You can add all the vegetables that are available in your pantry to make it nutritious.

Lets start with the recipe :

Ingredients :
  • 2 whole wheat bread 
    Onion, tomato, bell pepper, green chilly, corn

  • 1 small bowl shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 1/2 chopped tomato
  • 2 chopped green chilly
  • 1/3 cup corn
  • 1/2 chopped bell pepper/ capsicum
  • salt according to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian mix herb seasoning (Optional)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil / butter
Preparation :
  1. Heat tawa and toast bread from both the sides with tinge of olive oil/ butter, then take it off from the tawa
  2. Spread some shredded mozzarella cheese on it
  3. Add bell pepper, onion, tomatoes and corn in a bowl 
  4. Add salt and pepper and toss it
  5. Spread chopped bell pepper, onion, tomatoes, green chilly and corn on the top of the cheese on bread
  6. Spread some more mozzarella cheese
  7. Cook it on a non-stick tawa with lid for 2 minutes on low flame 
  8. Keep checking that it is not burning
  9. Cheese will start melting and crust of the bread will become crunchy, take it off 
  10. Sprinkle Italian mix herb seasoning over it and serve hot.
Note : Don't overcook it, so that vegetables remain crisp and crunchy.
