How to make Ragi Dosa | Finger Millet Dosa

Ragi Dosa is healthy and delicious dish for breakfast. It is rich in calcium, iron and fiber. You can have it everyday as it is easily digestible. It can be served with coconut chutney, sambar or as a stand alone dish.

Ingredients :
  • 1 cup ragi flour 
  • 1/2 cup urad dal
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • Salt according to taste
  • Olive oil / Refine oil

How to make ragi dosa

  1. Soak urad dal in water for 4 hours
  2. Drain water and grind it in a fine smooth paste and keep it aside for 2 hours for fermentation
  3. Mix grounded urad dal with ragi flour and mix it well by adding some water so that no lumps should form
  4. Take a non-stick tawa, heat it and add few drops of oil
  5. Add salt and chaat masala to the batter
  6. Add the batter on the tawa in a circular motion with the help of ladle or you can use service spoon too
  7. Once it will be cook, flip it.
  8. Sprinkle few drops of oil so that it should not stick
  9. Once it will be cooked from both the sides
  10. Serve hot with potato stuffing or coconut chutney or sambar.
