It is a classic traditional Mexican dip which is easy to make and can spice up any food. It is made with fresh ingredients and is flavorsome. It is quick and easy dip which can be used as a sauce for pizza and pasta. You can also add it in a salad to give it tangy and spicy flavor. It is a classic traditional dip which can be prepared in 10 minutes.

You can make it with few ingredients available in every kitchen. It is a delicious and flavorsome Mexican dip which can be served with nachos, tortillas, carrots etc. You can also add it in a taco or burrito which will give it an addition flavor.

Ingredients :

  • 3 medium size chopped tomatoes
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 2 green chillies 
  • 3 chopped red paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon oregano/Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chilly powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt according to taste

Preparation :

  • In a blender, add tomatoes, onion, garlic, green chillies, red paprika and coriander leaves
  • Prepare dressing, add salt, pepper, red chilly, vinegar, Italian seasoning, lime juice and olive oil
  • In a bowl, add blended mixture and dressing
  • Toss it and refrigerate it
  • Serve chilled
