How to make Strawberry Chia Smoothie

Recipe of Strawberry Chia Smoothie

Strawberry chia smoothie is made with healthy ingredients which are perfect for a quick breakfast. You can replace sugar with dates. You can soak dates in warm water, then pit it and blend it with the other ingredients. You can also substitute sugar with jaggery. You can make this smoothie according to your taste. For added flavor, you can add one ripe banana to it.

I have added chia seeds in it because after reading it's health benefits this was the most appropriate and delicious option to add it in my diet. Chia goes perfect with this smoothie and enhance it's taste. Chia is very nutritional and high in fibre, protein and omega 3 fatty acids.

Ingredients :
  • 2 cup cold milk (Almond milk or the one you like)
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 2 teaspoon sugar (according to taste)
  • 7 small chopped strawberries
Preparation :
  1. Soak chia seeds in milk
  2. After 10 minutes, add milk with chia seeds, strawberries and sugar in the blender
  3. Blend it into a smooth puree, check the sweetness if you want to add more sugar or milk
  4. Serve cold
